Apologies Councillor I. Longbottom and Councillor K. Mcilroy
Councillors, staff, the owners and their representatives along with affected neighbours and consultants met at the frontage of 24 Wallace Street. The Mayor welcomed all stakeholders and asked for an overview of relevant issues. Councillors then heard from the owners and their architect as well as from affected neighbours. Councillors viewed the subject property and the adjoining heritage dwelling house.
Issues articulated included:-
· the status and process of the application;
· heritage impact;
· height and views; and
· trafficable roof.
Councillor Gaffney thanked all present and advised Council would determine the matter at its meeting of Monday 7 March 2011.
