PRESENT: Councillor W. Gaffney (Chair), Councillor I. Longbottom, Councillor S. Bennison, Councillor K. Mcilroy and Councillor R. Tudge.

SUBJECT: Monthly Review - December 2008 / January 2009

 

RECOMMENDATION

 

It was recommended on the motion of Councillors Tudge and Mcilroy that the information be received and noted.

 

 

For the Motion were Councillors Gaffney, Longbottom, Bennison, Tudge and Mcilroy (Total 5).

Against the Motion was Nil (Total 0).

 

Open Space and Urban Services Division Reports

 

Open Space and Urban Services Division Report No. 1

SUBJECT: Local Traffic Committee Meeting held Tuesday 16 December 2008

 

RECOMMENDATION

 

It was recommended on the motion of Councillors Longbottom and Mcilroy that in respect to Items Y1, Y3 and Y4 Council  receive and note the recommendations of the Traffic Committee Meeting held on Tuesday 16 December 2008.

 

 

RECOMMENDATION

 

It was recommended on the motion of Councillors Longbottom and Tudge that in respect to Item Y2 that:-

 

1       Council approves the construction of a seagull island to and from the Lane Cove Golf Course as proposed by Gennaoui Consulting in their report dated 5 November 2008.

 

2       The Mayor & General Manager make representations to the Police Department on this matter.

 

3       Council notes that a seagull crossing would have no negative impact on any future Bicycle Plan.

 

 

 

  

 

DECISION UNDER DELEGATED AUTHORITY

 

 

RESOLVED on the motion of Councillors Tudge and Bennison that the Committee’s recommendations for all items be adopted.

 

 

For the Motion were Councillors Gaffney, Longbottom, Bennison, Tudge and Mcilroy (Total 5).

Against the Motion was Nil (Total 0).
